General Education Requirements All degree programs at UAH have a General Education Requirements (GER) component, which accounts for a little over one-third of the minimum total degree requirements and includes coursework in four categories: Composition, the Humanities & Fine Arts, Social & Behavioral Sciences, and the Natural & Physical Sciences. International Engagement & Support The Office of International Engagement and Support oversees three divisions that serve the unique needs of international students at UAH: International Student and Scholar Services, the Intensive Language and Culture Program, and the Office of International Programs. Certificate Programs UAH offers a number of Certificate Programs to give you specialized training in a particular area of study. These non-degree options are designed to bypass much of the coursework required for a degree in the field and can therefore be completed in a shorter amount of time.
