history class 41

Quality Faculty

Our faculty have published books and articles that enhance their expertise in subjects ranging from the Roman Empire to the Space Shuttle and everything else in between.

Small Classes

Professors will get to know you and your work because most graduate seminars in the History Department typically have 8-12 students. Your professors will help you grow and achieve your goals.

Relevant Curriculum

Learn from our young scholars, half of whom have received their doctorate in the last ten years, and enjoy classes that allow you to understand the past while learning new skills for your future.

Flexible Goals

Cultivate a new passion, prepare for a new career, write a research thesis, or work in a museum as an intern. We have multiple tracks of study to accommodate students with different goals and aspirations

One-on-One Advising

You will pair with a faculty member of your choice based on shared interests and will get advice on classes and careers.

Students are now able to apply for Summer 2023, Fall 2023, and Spring 2024 entry terms.

Graduate Certificates

We also offer a Graduate Certificate in Comparative Cultures and Conflicts.
