An inspiring curriculum to expand your horizons.

UAH offers more than 100 areas of study, with a curriculum focused on some of the fastest-growing job fields. And thanks to our small class sizes and low student-to-faculty ratio, you'll have the opportunity to form strong, supportive relationships with your professors and peers throughout your academic journey.

Research

From the classroom to the lab, discovery starts on day one.

UAH is not only home to more than a dozen on-campus research centers and labs, but it also enjoys strong partnerships with area businesses and federal agencies. As a result, you'll have the opportunity to take part in hands-on, high-level research projects, internships, and co-ops that other undergraduates can only dream about. After all, our students are capable of more than just writing papers and taking tests – and we give them the chance to prove it.

Athletics

A tradition of excellence, and always something to cheer for.

Just like our fight song says, we have pride in our Blue & White! In addition to our 15 NCAA men's and women's programs, we offer the opportunity for recreational players of all levels to get involved through our club sports and intramural leagues. Of course, we get a little help from our mascot Charger Blue and our spirited Blue Crew.

Huntsville

There's no better place to launch your career than the Rocket City.

With its vibrant arts scene, an abundance of restaurants and food trucks, and a temperate climate that lends itself to outdoor recreation, the Rocket City is so much more than a small Southern town. It's also a high-tech business hub that's home to the second-largest research park in the nation. That's why so many who come to Huntsville for their college career end up staying for their professional one!

Financial Aid

Because your focus should be on your education, not how you'll pay for it.

UAH’s Office of Financial Aid is dedicated to helping you navigate all the options available for tuition assistance, including federal loans, grants, work-study opportunities, veterans’ benefits, and scholarships. Moreover, all incoming first-time freshmen – including international students – who have demonstrated superior academic achievement in high school are automatically eligible for consideration for our Academic Tuition Scholarship.
