Academics

An inspiring curriculum to expand your horizons.

UAH offers nearly 100 areas of study at the undergraduate level, with a curriculum focused on the some of the fastest-growing job fields. And thanks to our small class sizes and low faculty-to-student ratio, you'll have the opportunity to form strong, supportive relationships with your professors and peers throughout your academic journey.

Research

From the classroom to the lab, discovery starts on day one.

UAH is not only home to more than a dozen on-campus research centers and labs, but it also enjoys strong partnerships with area businesses and federal agencies. As a result, you'll have the opportunity to take part in hands-on, high-level research projects, internships, and co-ops that other undergraduates can only dream about. After all, our students are capable of more than just writing papers and taking tests – and we give them the chance to prove it.

Athletics

A tradition of excellence, and always something to cheer for.

Just like our fight song says, we have pride in our Blue & White! In addition to our 18 NCAA men's and women's programs – including the only NCAA Division I ice hockey team in the Southeast – we offer the opportunity for recreational players of all levels to get involved through our club sports and intramural leagues. Of course, we get a little help from our mascot Charger Blue, our cheerleaders, our Chargerettes Dance Team, and our spirited Blue Crew.
