Each campus visit is broken into two parts – an information session and a campus tour with a student tour guide. The information session covers what it's like to be a part of the Charger Nation and provides you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the admissions process, financial aid, scholarships, student life, and housing. The student-led tour, featuring personal insight from your tour guide, allows you to explore our beautiful 505-acre campus with stops at one of our suite-style residence halls, the University Fitness Center, and Charger Union. Tips to Make Your Visit Successful Register at least 1-2 weeks in advance, especially if you are requesting additional appointments. Appointments are based on the availability of our campus partners and are not guaranteed. You will receive a detailed itinerary prior to your visit listing any appointments you may have scheduled. *Campus Visits typically last for two hours. If you request any additional appointments, each would add 30 minutes to an hour to your visit. Plan to arrive on campus 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled visit to allow time for check-in and parking. Once you arrive at our Student Services Building, park in our visitor parking area and bring your license plate number inside to check-in and receive a pass. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes as your visit will include a walking tour of campus. Make sure to bring anything you would need in the case of inclement weather. Transfer Visit Days During a Transfer Visit Day, transfer students have the opportunity to enjoy a complimentary lunch, meet your admissions counselor, attend an information session, and go on a student-led campus tour. You also have the opportunity to request an advising appointment with an academic advisor to discuss your transfer credit and plan of study. Please note that advising appointments are on a first-come, first-served basis and are not guaranteed as a part of Transfer Visit Days. For a productive advising appointment, we encourage you to bring an unofficial copy of your transcript. Transfer Visit Days are hosted in the spring and summer and typically last 3-4 hours. The information session will begin at 1 pm; however, your advising appointment could be scheduled before 1 pm.
