Advance Your Nursing Career at UAH!

The University of Alabama in Huntsville College of Nursing offers two dynamic pathways to earn your Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree-post-master’s and post-bachelor’s-each designed to prepare nurses for the highest levels of clinical and organizational leadership. As healthcare systems grow more complex, advanced practice nurses are needed not only for expert patient care but also for leadership in areas like population health, health policy, and system-wide improvement.

Our post-master’s to DNP option builds on your existing advanced practice knowledge, helping you refine your clinical or administrative expertise and expand your impact. The post-bachelor’s to DNP pathway offers a seamless route from BSN to both MSN and DNP degrees, streamlining coursework and accelerating your path to advanced practice.

Through both tracks, you’ll gain the tools, insight, and credentials to lead with confidence, shape policy, and elevate care in any setting.
