Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity Engineering (BSCBSY)

The BS in Cybersecurity Engineering degree program is unique in the state of Alabama. The program prepares students to work in cybersecurity intensive jobs, which require students to have a thorough understanding of modern computing systems, including from both a hardware and software perspective. They will be able to Identify and mitigate computing system vulnerabilities and apply security principles and practices to the design and implementation of the physical, software, and human component of the system.

 

Cybersecurity Engineering Advising and Mentoring

Cybersecurity  Engineering majors receive curriculum advising from the Center for Engineering Education (CUE2) which is located in the Engineering Building Room 157. Students are free to make an appointment to speak with an advisor to discuss curriculum planning, progress towards graduation, and problems with classes or other concerns as needed.
