Now Accepting Applications for the 2026 UAH HONOR BAND

January 22-24, 2026

UAH will be hosting the popular Honor Band Festival from January 22-24, 2026. High school students from across the state and region are invited to submit applications. The festival will run the evening of January 22 and during the days of January 23-24.

Students selected for the Honor Band will participate in and receive the following:

  • Two and a half days of rehearsal and culminating performance of classic and modern works for band
  • Small-group masterclasses given by UAH faculty
  • A side-by-side performance with UAH faculty and local professionals
  • Commemorative t-shirt
  • Lunch on Friday and Saturday

There will be a $35 fee for selected students.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS 

Interested students should fill out the application below, complete with an audition submission. Audition packets/requirements are listed at the bottom of this page. Students should upload audition videos to a Google Drive or an unlisted YouTube video, then share the link when prompted at the end of the application form. If you are sharing videos via Google Drive, please make sure permissions are adjusted so anyone with the link may view the videos. 

Applications are due by the end of the day on Sunday, November 23rd, and students will be notified of their selection by December 12th.
