UAH will be hosting the popular Honor Band Festival from February 4-6, 2027. High school students from across the state and region are invited to submit applications. The festival will run the evening of February 4 and during the days of February 5 and 6.
Students selected for the Honor Band will participate in and receive the following:
- Two and a half days of rehearsal and culminating performance of classic and modern works for band
- Small-group masterclasses given by UAH faculty
- A side-by-side performance with UAH faculty and local professionals
- Commemorative t-shirt
- Lunch on Friday and Saturday
There will be a fee* for selected students.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Interested students should fill out the application below, complete with an audition submission. Audition packets/requirements will be listed at the bottom of this page. Students should upload audition videos to a Google Drive or an unlisted YouTube video, then share the link when prompted at the end of the application form. If you are sharing videos via Google Drive, please make sure permissions are adjusted so anyone with the link may view the videos.
*Application Deadline and Fee Information
- October 31, 2026: Early Bird Deadline ($30 fee for accepted students)
- November 29, 2026: FINAL DEADLINE ($40 fee for accepted students)
- December 11, 2026: Students notified of acceptance
