After almost 32 years, he recently retired from California-based technology conglomerate holding domestic and international positions at the Manager, Director, and Vice-President levels. Also, for the last ten years Foster has been teaching International Business and Management Principles at The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) where he is an Adjunct Lecturer for the College of Business. Over the years, Foster has also served on various industry and community non-profit Boards, including the National Defense Industrial Association, the Huntsville Aerospace Marketing Association, the Association of the US Army, the Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the North Alabama International Trade Association, Junior Achievement and the Arc of Madison County. He is also the head coach for the Madison County Special Olympics Swim Team. Mary Jane graduated magna cum laude from UAH and received a Master Certificate in Federal Contract Management. She is a Certified Procurement Professional (CPP), a VA certified CVE Verification Advisor, and a Level 1 Federal Contractor Certification Trainer with hours of required current professional development training by national associations, federal agencies and Defense Acquisition University. Mary Jane was awarded the 2012 ASBDC Alabama State Star Award for her contributions to regional small businesses and the 2014 HASBAT Small Business Advocate Award for Excellence presented at the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce Small Business Award Celebration on September 4, 2014. Mary Jane previously worked in banking and was successful in sales, marketing, and a management position with a local company, and has been a partner in a family owned business for over 20 years. She began her career at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine (UABSOM) where she worked in several key administrative roles. After several years of working at UABSOM, Magdaline decided to use her skills to develop a successful business career in real estate. Through this firsthand experience, Magdaline gained a comprehensive understanding and appreciation for the challenges and rewards of being in business for yourself. Magdaline will use this knowledge and experience to fulfill her current role at the SBDC and PTAC. Heather Wright SBDC Small Business ADVISOR / FINANCE SPECIALIST email@example.com Heather Wright, is a Finance Specialist for the SBDC Capital Access Program. She finished her undergraduate at Auburn University in Business Administration with focuses in Finance and Human Resource Management; and her Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of North Alabama. The last eleven years, post undergraduate; Heather has worked for many different lending institutions that provide commercial and consumer lending products, where she thrived in loan processing, sales, and management. Heather is also a successful small business owner and her business was awarded multiple small business awards, and published in multiple publications for their knowledge in that particular market sector. Heather provides the SBDC with loan packaging knowledge to aid in capital access for small businesses, as well as, strategic business knowledge to assist in successfully building and maintaining small businesses.
