Biography

Garrett Hardee is a University of Alabama graduate with a degree in Business Management and a professional background that spans government support, program analysis, and entrepreneurship. As the son of a U.S. Marine who served for 26 years, Garrett spent much of his childhood traveling before settling in Huntsville in 2002.

After college, he began his career with CGI as a software tester and budget analyst before joining Thompson Gray, where he supported both PEO Aviation and PEO Missiles & Space at Redstone Arsenal. He currently serves as a Senior Program Analyst.

In 2018, Garrett launched Hippea Camper, a plant-based food truck that continues to operate at local farmers' markets and community events. He also helped open Hound & Harvest Backyard Bistro, gaining valuable small business and hospitality experience.

Garrett enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, kayaking, biking, and following sports, especially football. Having used the UAH SBDC as a resource when starting his own business, he experienced firsthand the value of its guidance and support. That experience inspired him to help the next generation of entrepreneurs navigate the challenges of business ownership and pursue their goals with confidence.
