  • The Space Hardware Club (SHC) sent a payload to space for the first time in almost a decade to collect flight monitoring data. Three SHC teams placed first, second and third in the nation at an international CanSat competition. And the SHC robotic rover team finished third among U.S. teams in its first University Rover Challenge.
  • UAH welcomes our new Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. David A. Puleo. Dr. Puleo possesses extensive administrative, academic and technical experience, as well as research expertise, making him a wonderful fit for the UAH mission.
  • College of Nursing teamed up with UAH Rotorcraft Systems Engineering and Simulation Center Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program to explore improving rural healthcare by delivering vital medical supplies via drone.
  • UAH received initial approval for a major Engineering building project, an 80,000-square-foot multistory facility that will boost research and development capabilities and aid Huntsville STEM workforce needs.
