Working with outside consultants, campus personnel, and students, this office seeks to provide guidance to the university's growth consistent with mission and goals of the administration, campus master plan and established guidelines. The Planning, Design & Construction (PDC) office is located within the department of Facilities and Operations, with offices in the Physical Plant Building. The PDC office directs and coordinates work for campus related: Planning Construction Renovation Campus Master Plan The Campus Master Plan was presented to and approved by The Board of Trustees during their September 2016 meeting. The master planning process provides a clear and compelling vision of a unique, attractive and functional setting for all the activities that go on here at UAH. To fulfill its purpose, this physical planning process must be coordinated with the university´s strategic plan. Executive Plaza Master Plan UAH has embarked on a visioning process to establish a new social heart for our campus where students can live and spend time outside of the classroom and faculty and staff can have greater out-of-the-office amenities. This dynamic district will be home to lively streetscapes and will include lifestyle amenities such as dining, entertainment, and outdoor recreation.
