Visit Campus

Interested in visiting campus and learning more about our graduate programs? We have two great opportunities: Open House and Orientation!

Open House

Our Open House program is a great way to discover what matters most to you. At the Open House, you will...

  • Get information about graduate programs
  • Speak personally with program faculty and advisors
  • Learn about the admissions process
  • Be entered to win a graduate school t-shirt and other prizes

Pre-registration

Join us on Monday, October 2nd from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. as we co-host our open house with the Alabama Connection Graduate Fair School Expo. We will be on hand along with 65+ other graduate schools from across Alabama and the surrounding states. This is a wonderful opportunity to visit multiple schools and determine which school might be the best fit for you and your graduate goals.

If you would like to pre-register for this event, we will notify you of event updates and send a reminder when the event approaches.

Orientation

Join us during one of our graduate orientation dates prior to the start of the semester to start your term on the right foot. Our goal is to acquaint you with UAH personnel, services, policies, and procedures as a newcomer to The University of Alabama in Huntsville.

Dates available for Fall semester start:

  • Tuesday, July 25 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am
  • Tuesday, August 8 from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm
  • Monday, August 14 from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm
  • All dates will be hosted in the Salmon Library, Second Floor.

Admitted students are requested to RSVP to let us know you will attend. Don't delay; space is limited. Can't attend? All students will be emailed general orientation information so they don't miss out. Until then, be sure to review our Newly Admitted Graduate Student Guide to help you get started before the first day of classes.
