2020 SEB ASM Meeting

The 105th Southeast Branch meeting of the American Society for Microbiology (ASM) will be held at the University of Alabama in Huntsville in February 21-23 of 2020. The 2020 SEB ASM meeting will feature a keynote address by Dr. Rita Tamayo from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.

Southeast Branch of American Society for Microbiology

The Southeastern Branch of the American Society for Microbiology (SEB ASM) is dedicated to building a community resource for microbiologists in the southeast. The Branch encompasses Alabama, Georgia, and the northern counties of Florida. Its members represent diverse interests and areas of expertise, including human health and disease, biotechnology, environmental science, and education. The Branch welcomes students and professionals from all career levels and backgrounds.

The overarching goal of the Branch is to provide a local venue for promoting the rapidly advancing science and teaching of microbiology. This is done primarily by holding an annual Branch meeting that showcases microbiology research in the Southeast. Learn more about the Southeast Branch of American Society for Microbiology.
