The Project HAPPENS Professional Development Series focuses on advocacy for ELs, cultural and linguistic responsiveness in the classroom, and the implications of Common Core for ELs and educators of ELs. It is a 4-part series composed of on-ground workshops with associated online module activities. All training sessions take place on the UAH campus and are held at no cost to participants. In-service teachers and administrators may earn either six CEU credits or two PLU credits for completing all on ground and online activities. (Varying amounts of credits may be earned for completing some but not all activities in the professional development series.)
