housing Summer Housing Application Any UAH student that is enrolled in a summer class and/or registered for an internship are eligible to live on campus for the summer semester. Applications can be submitted through two different avenues depending on your spring status at the University. If you live on campus for the spring semester, then you will submit your housing application through your Residential Self-Service which is found through myUAH. Additional information will be sent out through the housing office. If you are a UAH student, but not living on campus, you will need to submit a housing application through our webpage and pay a non-redunable fee. The application is already available. Summer Residence Hall Southeast Campus Any student that applies for summer housing will be manually assigned to a 3 bedroom suite in Southeast Campus unless otherwise specified in the application. Summer Housing Dates Summer students will be able to check-in starting on Friday, May 28th, at 9AM. If you currently live on campus and need temporary housing until summer check-in, reach out to the Housing Office at firstname.lastname@example.org. Summer students will be expected to check-out by Saturday, August 7th, at 6PM. If you have a fall housing assignment, you will receive an email from the Assistant Director of Housing Operation on how to transition to your fall assignment. Summer Housing Rates Southeast Campus Term Room Semester Rate 5 Week Term Private bedroom in 3-person suite $995 10 Week Term Private bedroom in 3-person suite $1990 Fraternity and Sorority Housing Term Room Semester Rate 10 Week Term Private room in 10-bedroom House $1550 Additional Information If a student applies for summer and fall/spring housing, only summer housing is guaranteed. You will receive a separate assignment letter for fall and spring housing. To cancel a summer assignment, email the Housing Office at email@example.com before the first day of summer classes. If we do not receive a cancellation, then the student will be held responsible for housing and meal plan charges. Students who fill out the summer application through their Residential Self-Service will be required to sign a housing contract before they are able to submit their application. This will bound the student financially for the summer semester if they receive a housing assignment. Other summer students will fill their contract out during check-in. Any resident that did not complete the Room Condition Report upon moving into summer residence hall will be held responsible for the current condition of the room. Any damages or changes will be determined by the Resident Director and charged to the assigned resident.
