Sep 27, 2022 | Office of the President In accordance with CDC guidance on exposure and isolation, UAH has made the following updates to campus COVID-19 protocols: Regardless of vaccination status, all individuals are required to mask indoors on campus when around others for 10 days following exposure to a COVID-19 positive individual. Testing is recommended on day 6 even if you do not develop symptoms. Unvaccinated individuals who do not have any COVID-19 symptoms are no longer required to quarantine following close-contact exposure to a COVID-19 positive individual. Any faculty, staff, or student who has COVID-19 symptoms or a positive test result must still notify the university as soon as possible and follow guidance from the UAH Health Clinics. If you test positive for COVID-19, stay home for at least 5 days and Report symptoms and/or positive test results through the secure portal: Go to uahportal.pointnclick.com Click Send a Secure Message -> New Message -> Student OR Faculty and Staff -> I want to send a message to the Nurse Report the date your symptoms started Report the date you tested positive Attach a picture of your test report or your home test.
