If you are sick, stay home.

If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or tested positive for COVID-19, stay home, self-isolate and seek follow instructions from the UAH Health Clinics.

Report symptoms and/or positive test results through the secure portal:

  • Go to uahportal.pointnclick.com
  • Click Send a Secure Message --> New Message --> Student OR Faculty and Staff --> I want to send a message to the Nurse
    • Report the date your symptoms started.
    • Attach a picture of your test report or your home test.

For individual medical questions and to avoid long wait times, please submit your questions to the portal.

Face Coverings

Masking is no longer mandatory indoors on UAH campus, except:

  • Masks are required in all clinical areas in Wilson Hall, as posted on signage.
  • Individuals are still required to wear a mask in accordance with CDC guidance, including:
    • Following an isolation period after a positive test (i.e., wear a mask for five days when around people following the five-day isolation period, minimum 10 days total masking).
    • After close-contact exposure to a COVID-positive individual (i.e., wear a mask for 10 days following  exposure).

Clinical Settings

Clinical activities remain subject to face covering, social distancing, visitor restrictions, and any other protocols based on the requirements of the individual healthcare setting.

Athletics

Athletic events and student-athlete protocols shall follow all NCAA and conference guidelines.

Community Expectations and Enforcement

All members of the campus community (faculty, staff, and students) are expected to strictly adhere to the requirements of the University’s Safety and Health Requirements and any additional directives of the University with respect to health and safety.
