UAH Computer Ensemble
Where Music Tech Meets Live Electronic Performance
UAH Computer Ensemble (MUX396-10) is the university's hands-on electronic music ensemble dedicated entirely to original MIDI-based production and performance. This is a creative laboratory where every student becomes a composer, producer, and performer. Whether you are triggering beats live, automating effects in real-time, or building lush synth arrangements, Computer Ensemble gives you real-world fluency in the tools of modern music creation and the thrill of performing it live with a team of like-minded innovators. For more information, contact Matthew Westmeyer at mkw0016@uah.edu.
Prerequisite: Completion of any Music Technology course (MU106, MU207, MU305, etc.) or approval by instructor via an “audition” project—a demonstration of a complete original song written entirely in MIDI.
