Graduate at UAH

Academic Advisors

The Academic Advising Office in the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences is here to help you plan your classes, stay on track for your degree, and reach your academic goals. Each MAJOR has its own dedicated advisor, so you’ll know exactly who to go to.

Preparing for Academic Advising

  1. Review your DegreeWorks
    • Located at My.UAH.edu > Student Services > Student Records.
    • DegreeWorks is an online degree audit tool that helps you track your academic progress. It shows what courses you've completed, what’s in progress, and what you still need to graduate.
    • Check your DegreeWorks at least once a semester to ensure your program of study is listed correctly.
    • Review for class planning before your Academic Advising appointments.
    • The “What If” function of DegreeWorks allows you to explore other majors or minors and see how future planned classes can be applied to your program of study.
  2. For a complete list of degree requirements and course descriptions, plus academic policies, view the Academic Catalog
