The College of Education includes two academic departments – the Department of Curriculum and Instruction and the Department of Kinesiology – as well as the UAH Early Learning Center. The Department of Curriculum and Instruction focuses on collaborative, elementary, English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), and secondary teacher preparation, while the Department of Kinesiology focuses on exercise science, sport and fitness management, and preparing physical education teachers.
