Sustainability Framework

UAH has earned a STARS Bronze rating in recognition of its sustainability achievements from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). STARS, the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System, measures and encourages sustainability in all aspects of higher education.

The University of Alabama in Huntsville is a member of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education. One benefit of being a member is the opportunity for any students, staff, or faculty to access tools, information, and guidance on sustainability best practices and strategies.
