The College of Science is pleased to announce that Nathan Solomon has been selected as the Top Scholar for the Fall 2021 semester. Each semester, the College of Science selects an undergraduate for this award based on academic performance, service involvement, and experience.

Nathan has been a stellar computer science student. During his time in ACM, he was in charge of hosting several events that gave students a sense of belonging and community.

Assistant Professor, Computer Science

Nathan earned degrees in Computer Science and Music. During the 2020 academic year, he served as President for the UAH chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery, after previously serving as Vice President for 2 years. Nathan was also involved in the Cyber Security Club as well as Charger Studios - a student club that teaches students about animation and production software. Additionally, Nathan worked as a PASS (Peer Assisted Study Session) leader for both Computer Science and Music courses.

Nathan accepted a position at Northrop Grumman where he interned. The College of Science is proud of Nathan’s achievements as a student and wish him the best in his career!
