Cadet Ezekiel D. Parrow receives Society of American Military Engineers ROTC Bronze Award of Merit.

Lieutenant Colonel Taurus Smith, Professor of Military Science at Alabama A&M University, and Master Sergeant Jose Ramos, Senior Military Instructor, present Cadet Ezekiel D. Parrow with the Society of American Military Engineers ROTC Bronze Award of Merit during the battalion’s Welcome Back Ceremony on August 20th. Cadet Parrow, now a senior enrolled in The University of Alabama in Huntsville’s Aerospace Engineering program, is a member of the Alabama A&M University Reserve Officers Training Corps.

The award was authorized in 1948 and is presented annually to outstanding junior and senior engineering students in the Army, Air Force, and Navy Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) ranked in the top 25% of their engineering and ROTC classes. A maximum of 20 medals per service are awarded each year.
