January 23, 2012 Don't Succumb to Phishing Attempts The Office of Information Technology and Help Desk have recently received reports of at least three variations of phishing emails. We would like to take the time to remind you that if you receive emails asking for personal information or requesting that you follow links about your account, be vary wary. Generic IT help desk messages will not come from UAHuntsville's Office of Information Technology or the OIT Help Desk. We will never ask you for your information in this manner. Always be cautious. If you are unsure about the authenticity of the message always contact the OIT Help Desk (phone: 256-824-3333 or email: helpdesk@uah.edu), but do not respond.
