The Recording & Presentation Practice Room is on the third floor of the Salmon Library (LIB307). This is a place to collaborate, create, learn, practice, and explore. It has the equipment, software, and space for you to create, record, or practice presentations, videos, audio, and much more. The space has been professionally treated with fixed Auralex sound panels and bass traps and moveable sound panels are also available to ensure high-quality audio recordings. The room can fit 3-4 people in front of the green screen. The room contains: Green screen backdrop Moveable presentation table and rolling office chairs Computer with audio and video recording and editing software Audio interface with multiple input capabilities Multiple microphones and microphone stands Video streaming broadcast camera Portable LED lighting with multiple color options and brightness settings You can see the full list of equipment and software on the dedicated LibGuide. The room can be checked out for a two hour block, but renewals are possible if there is no one waiting to check out the room. Reservations are not available. The room is closed one hour prior to shut down. Food is not allowed in the room. Drinks with a lid are okay. All equipment is available for in-library use only. Please do NOT remove any equipment from the room.
