Biography

Diana is a social scientist working to advance gender equity and social inclusion within geospatial tools and services. Committed to building bridges between social science and remote sensing, her efforts are directed toward a better understanding of community needs, development of gender-responsive geospatial services, and building global hub capacity toward more equitable outcomes. Diana’s experience includes over a decade of research and teaching across a number of academic institutions both in the US and abroad, enhancing her appreciation of how cultural, political, and socioeconomic contexts impact scientific endeavors.
