Job Description:

The Research Associate I will support the development of scheduling and implementation of special projects related to the scientific meeting outcomes/data, research articles and project reports and communications that derive from CSPAR research.  This position is in support of various projects for the center through the successful completion of assigned projects and data analysis.  The incumbent will add; creative projects in Photoshop and other MS software, perform basic website maintenance (i.e. Joomla for CSPAR website and EPSCoR website) and have the ability to handle financial data (for PI accounts, etc.).

 


Requirements:

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Science, Engineering or Business/0-3 months of full-time verifiable work experience/must have critical thinking and sound judgment skills for project planning/knowledge of Photoshop is required/must have basic accounting skills/knowledge of website maintenance is required/must have experience managing schedules for all aspects of a project from conception to completion/experience to ensure projects are completed within the determined time frame and within the constraints of the budget is required/experience working in a space science research center or related research environment is preferred/experience with scientific or engineering terms and data analysis related to publications dealing with space science is desired/experience in assembling research archival data for research scientists is preferred

The approximate annual salary range for this position is $37,000 - $37,685.
