As many University employees returned to campus on May 10, this marks the perfect time to announce several heartening developments that will go a long way to help bring us all that much closer to a return to complete normalcy in our daily lives:

  • Our supply of COVID-19 vaccines here at UAH has been increased and is no longer as limited. If you have been waiting to make an appointment to allow other more vulnerable individuals to receive the vaccine first, this is the time to protect yourself as well.
  • UAH now offers your choice of Pfizer-BioNTech (ages 12+), Johnson & Johnson (ages 18+) and may have Moderna (ages 18+) vaccines available as well.
  • UAH is now authorized to offer the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine to all employees’ children and household members ages 12 and up.

Now that many of us are once more working on campus, it is vital that we strive for full vaccination throughout our campus community to continue to ensure the safety and health of everyone here at our University.

We therefore want to encourage each of you who has not yet received the vaccine to do so. It is critically important that we continue to build on the progress we all have made, through your hard work, toward defeating the virus.

To schedule an appointment, please call our COVID Vaccine Scheduling line at 256.824.2400. Vaccines are administered at Executive Plaza, 555 Sparkman Drive, Bldg. 800, Suite 818, across the street from the Bevill Center.

Please continue to check your University email and the UAH Return to Campus website for updates. The RTC website will be updated by June 1 with information for the summer terms.
