As a reminder, FSA accounts operate on a calendar year basis. Any available funds in your account must be used by December 31, 2023! Funds DO NOT ROLL OVER to the following year- there is no carryover provision on the FSA. Any unused funds left in your account at the end of the calendar year will be forfeited.

There is a 90-day run-out period after the end of the plan year (January -March) that allows participants an opportunity to submit receipts and reimbursement requests for out of pocket expenses incurred within the 2023 calendar year. If you paid for an eligible expense out of your own pocket, you can submit a claim for reimbursement online. You should include appropriate documentation to support your claim(s), such as itemized receipts or an explanation of benefits from the insurance company. Click here to learn more about how you can submit your claim for reimbursement. You can obtain a claim form here.
