UAH is making eduroam Wi-Fi network available to students in the parking lots at Wilson Hall (lot G5) and Materials Science building (lot W28).

Students can log on to the eduroam network using their university credentials.  Please observe the following rules as you make use of these parking areas:

  • You are allowed to park only in lots G5 and W28.   If you park in other areas, you will be asked to leave campus.
  • Practice proper social distancing by remaining in your vehicle and at least six feet from others.
  • If you are showing COVID-19 symptoms or someone in your home/shelter is sick, do not come to the parking lots.
  • Have your UAH ID with you when you come to campus so that you can show it for security reasons.
  • Please notify UAH Police if you see people in the parking lots that do not appear to be students.
  • Observe precautions in severe weather.

For those in the Birmingham area, The University of Alabama at Birmingham will be establishing a similar lot.  We will update you on the details when they are finalized.

For those outside the Huntsville and Birmingham areas, The Alabama Super Computer Authority has provided a list of libraries in the state that may have extended Wi-Fi into their parking lots.   At this time, we do not know the authentication scheme, if any, that is being used.  We suggest that you contact the local library for access information.

Changes and updates will be posted on the UAH COVID-19 page.
