Student Achievement at UAH Identified Metrics

The student achievement goals and outcomes were developed with input from UAH’s academic leadership, including the deans of each college. Goals in five areas have been identified: graduation rates, retention rates, course completion rates, professional licensure exam pass rates, and job placement rates. One or more measures have been identified for each goal, and each measure has an identified benchmark. Progress on each goal is evaluated each year, and each area is responsible for developing and implementing strategies for improvement.  These goals and outcomes are also linked the University Strategic Plan. Table 1.1a shows the Student Achievement metrics aligned with the strategic plan, mission, strategic priority, the key performance indicator (KPI) and the metrics associated with each KPI.  Presented is a minimum (baseline), a target (UAH's goal), and the actual (UAH outcome) the the year presented.  Each metric is reported for the most recent available data at the time of this report.
