Don Gregory is Distinguished Professor of Physics and has been a member of the faculty since the fall of 1992. During that time he has graduated 24 MS students (with thesis) and 23 Ph.D. students in areas related to optics. With his students, he has published more than 130 technical papers in a variety of respected scientific journals. He is also an author of World War II books with three published by traditional publishing houses in the US and Great Britain.

Professor Gregory worked as a Materials Engineer for the Marshall Space Flight Center and as a GM-15 Supervisory Research Physicist for the US Army Missile Command before coming to UAH.
