Associate Professor, Chemistry Department Assistant Director, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Lab (NMR)


My expertise lies in structure elucidation of Natural Products by NMR. Special emphasis goes to the efficient implementation of On-line techniques like HPLC-NMR and HPLC-MS for screening purposes. This structural information is linked whenever possible to biological activity. Several biochemical screens are set up for this purpose. Compounds studied for this purpose stem mostly from plant sources.
