Written by: Shelley Aycock August 3, 2012 Dr. Udaysankar Nair, a UAHuntsville assistant professor of atmospheric science, has been selected to attend the American Meteorological Society's summer policy colloquium in Washington. The AMS summer colloquium is a ten-day program in atmospheric policy, including current and future issues. After a competitive application process, a select group of graduate students and professionals are invited to participate each year. The program includes case studies of atmospheric policy issues and an overview of how decisions are made regarding the course and future of atmospheric science.
