ROTC Cadets conduct weapons training in anticipation for Cadet Summer Training

Thirty-one Reserve Officer’s Training Corps Cadets from Alabama A&M University, the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Athens State University, and Oakwood University training with military police at a military range on the NASA side of the Arsenal on Feb. 28. LTC Early Howard, the Professor of Military Science, said the Cadets took part in an ‘M4 Familiarization Range’ training in preparation for their upcoming 30-day summer training at Fort Knox, Kentucky. It’s the first time the ROTC Cadets have had such training, which is required for their Cadet Summer Training, Howard said.
