The November 2017 PRC Mentoring Lunch recognized students graduating in fall 2017. PRC and other UAH staff were recognized for their significant contributions to our center. Our guest speaker for the lunch was Dr. Ashley Ramirez, owner of the Mason-Dixon Bistro and Bakery. Her address to the graduates entitled “Gluten-Free Rocket Science,” describes how she discovered her professional passion in the midst of professional adversity. The message speaks to all who find themselves pressured by external events to change their planned career paths.
