Feb 23, 2016 | Andrea Thompson Michael Mercier | UAH Planning a future in nursing? Then take your first step by attending the College of Nursing’s Open House! We’ve set aside two hours to give you an exclusive look at the exciting programs and hands-on learning opportunities that we offer those whose professional calling – and personal passion – is nursing. It begins with welcoming you to our brand-new Nursing Building, where you’ll hear all about how our degree programs can help you launch a rewarding, successful career in health care. Our academic advisors will also be on hand to answer any questions you may have about the classes and clinical experiences you’ll need to become a nurse. And we’ll tell you about our competitive Early Promotion into Nursing Program, which enables high-achieving freshmen to get a head start on completing the requirements for a nursing degree at UAH. Of course, no Open House would be complete without a guided tour of the College of Nursing! In addition to getting a sneak-peek into our classrooms and student spaces, you’ll also enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at our Learning & Technology Resource Center. As UAH’s state-of-the-art simulation hospital, it features high-tech “patients,” clinical labs, and an IV practice room. It’s also the perfect place to picture yourself as a future nursing student! So don’t wait to reserve your spot.Fill out the registration form and choose one of the two available dates: Friday, March 11, from 3 to 5 p.m. OR Tuesday, April 5, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Register Now!
