On April 17, Amentum, a global leader in designing, engineering, and modernizing critical systems and programs of national importance, donated $1,000 to the Army ROTC program at Alabama A&M University and The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH). This contribution is intended to directly support special events and training opportunities for Army ROTC Cadets, enriching their development as future leaders of the U.S. Army.

The funds will help provide Cadets with enhanced training exercises, leadership-building activities, and participation in regional ROTC events that go beyond the traditional classroom and field experience.

“We are grateful for Amentum’s support in strengthening our cadet experience and contributing to the readiness and capability of tomorrow’s military professionals,” said Gary Carter, instructor of Military Science at Alabama A&M and UAH.

In addition to the financial support, the ongoing partnership with Amentum will open doors for cadets to gain firsthand exposure to careers with government contractors and Department of Defense agencies. This collaboration creates pathways for internships, mentorships, and potential career placements—offering cadets a unique advantage as they transition from military training to professional service.
