International Education Week is a annual celebration of the international aspects of the United States education such as student exchange programs and outreach. This year, the Salmon Library will be hosting two events with IEW as a theme. The first is a Hiragana Workshop (Tuesday, November 19, 3pm to 5pm) to show you the basics of the traditional Japanese phonetic alphabet. The first 8 attendees can get a free Hiragana workbook. The other IEW themed event is the Candy and Treats from around the Globe (Wednesday, November 20, 1pm to 3pm). This event will focus on various treats from various countries around the world. Finally, outside of the IEW events, there will be the rescheduled Cheesy Holiday Photos event this Thursday (November 21) from 2pm to 4pm. The MultiMaker Lab will provide the green screen and some props and you can provide the cheesy/fun poses. Thanksgiving Break is Next Week UPDATE! The Library will be physically closed on Monday, November 25 due to electrical work. Only resources will be available. Thanksgiving is next week and the Salmon Library will have altered hours. Sunday, November 24: CLOSED Monday (November 25): Physically CLOSED, REMOTE ONLY Tuesday(November 26) & Wednesday (November 27): 8am to 5pm Thursday (Thanksgiving Day, November 28) through Sunday (December 1): CLOSED. The Salmon Library will return to normal hours on December 2nd (and shortly after that, enter into extended hours and Finals).
