The Salmon Library enters into Fall hours today (Monday, August 19). Those hours are:
- Monday through Thursday
7:30am to 10:00pm - Friday
7:30am to 8:00pm - Saturday
8:00am to 1:00pm - Sunday
12:00pm to 9pm
For those that are used to our old hours, Sunday hours have shifted "back" by 1 hour.
Week of Welcome Events
The Salmon Library, as always, will be participating in the campus-wide Week of Welcome.
Make note that the events are not in LIB111 as listed by in general have been moved to "First Floor, Library". Today's Pizza & Chicken Tenders event, for instance, will be in the Library Commons area near the coffee shop (Cafe de la UAH).

- Monday, August 19. Noon to 1pm.
Pizza & Tenders (Library Commons) - Wednesday, August 21. 6pm to 8pm.
Quick Crafts: Stained Glass Lanterns (Library Lobby) - Friday, August 23. 2pm to 4pm.

ArtSTOR now Fully Searched through JSTOR
JSTOR has been migrating their ArtSTOR content directly into JSTOR for some time (for those keeping track of the URL shifts). The new URL for those who wish to access ArtSTOR is now

This week (August 22), JSTOR will have a Webinar - JSTOR for images: 2024 update - about searching for images in the new JSTOR-only interface. The write up of the webinar is as follows: "JSTOR is a fantastic resource for images. Now you can find Artstor’s high-quality collections and key functionality on JSTOR. Join this free webinar for an update on the latest time-saving features and functionality that supports the use of images on JSTOR. This 55-minute webinar is appropriate for librarians, researchers, and teaching faculty."
