Our In Media Res series of workshops, part of our offerings at the Salmon Library Multimedia Lab, kick off for the Spring 2019 semester with today's (January 28th's), Adobe Illustrator workshop about creating unique logos from pencil drawings. Other workshops will touch upon useful apps, free media, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe After Effects. The full schedule is as follows: January 28, Noon: Creating Logos with Adobe Illustrator February 12, Noon: Apps for Students, How to Get the Most Out of Your Smartphone or Tablet February 26, 3pm: Finding Free Media to Enhance Your Own Content Creation March 4, 2pm: Tweaking Photos with Adobe Photoshop April 10, 1 pm: Special Effects with (Adobe) After Effects These are all open workshops for students, faculty, and staff. No reservations are necessary. They do not require prior experience with the topic in question. Each take about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
