She completed her bachelor’s degree in Literature at the University of North Alabama before moving to St. Petersburg, FL to work on her master’s degree at the University of South Florida. After completing her degree, she moved to Sarasota, FL, where she worked as a librarian at a local public library for three years. She moved back to north Alabama in 2022 and currently works as a librarian at the UAH library, where she runs the library’s Makerspace, Recording Room, and Multimedia Lab, provides reference and research assistance, and plans, promotes, and runs engagement events for the library. In her free time, she enjoys reading fiction, crocheting, and spending time with her family and her two cats.
