Biography

Rogie received his Bachelor and Master degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez, and his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Alabama. He has a strong background in materials development and characterization. His research experience and interests include high temperature lead-free solders, friction stir welding and additive manufacturing.

Rogie joined the Metals and Ceramics Development group at Boeing-Huntsville, AL in November 2014. He currently supports multiple research and development programs including the CST-100 Starliner, next generation aluminum alloys, and other additive manufacturing programs.
