I2C Innovation Mentors are subject matter experts, gurus, doers, advisors, folks who want to genuinely connect, contribute and be a pivotal resource to our companies and entrepreneurs. They are enablers of innovation, entrepreneurship and “getting it done”!

Our Innovation Mentors are available to all I2C virtual / resident companies and faculty / students looking to take their idea forward.

Rogie received his Bachelor and Master degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez, and his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Alabama. He has a strong background in materials development and characterization. His research experience and interests include high temperature lead-free solders, friction stir welding and additive manufacturing.

Rogie joined the Metals and Ceramics Development group at Boeing-Huntsville, AL in November 2014. He currently supports multiple research and development programs including the CST-100 Starliner, next generation aluminum alloys, and other additive manufacturing programs.
