WHAT:
The University of Alabama in Huntsville will celebrate Tree Campus USA® recognition with the Arbor Day Foundation and Toyota by planting 26 trees during a hands-on volunteer event.

WHY:
The University of Alabama in Huntsville will host a tree-planting event to promote and increase its commitment to building a healthy urban forest by planting trees on campus. The event will celebrate The University of Alabama in Huntsville's Tree Campus USA® recognition. The event is a component of the Tree Campus USA® program, which is funded by Toyota and administered by the nonprofit Arbor Day Foundation. A tree-planting celebration, presented by the Arbor Day Foundation and Toyota, is planned for the campus to commemorate this achievement.

The University of Alabama in Huntsville students, faculty, staff, administration, community volunteers and representatives from the Arbor Day Foundation and Toyota.
