The UAH Facilities and Operations (F&O) Department will be implementing some basic HVAC and lighting "unoccupied space" setbacks across campus to reduce utility costs, promote good stewardship/sustainability and preserve funds that may be needed elsewhere during COVID-19 limited operations. 

This plan was reviewed with many colleges and departments in advance for input and F&O received numerous requests for specific adjustments and exceptions all of which will be accommodated. These energy conservation measures will not decrease the safety of those on campus nor degrade essential operations or preservation of sensitive assets. 

Facilities and Operations will monitor the building HVAC and lighting systems during limited operations and adjust and/or stop any energy conservation measures as needed.
