Biography

Stephanie is a pianist with a BA in global and popular music and BS in environmental science focusing on GIS and Latin American studies from the University of Pittsburgh. Stephanie continued their interest in cross-disciplinary research with DEVELOP at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory detecting wetlands under the Maya Forest canopy. Alongside Amazonian experts, Stephanie coordinates projects in deforestation and agriculture using SAR and GEDI, with special interest in Indigenous Peoples engagement.
