Biography

Jake Ramthun is the Science Communications Lead for SERVIR, a joint effort of NASA and USAID. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Geography from Macalester College and the University of South Carolina. His work has spanned physical and human geography, including the human geography of disaster risk, remote sensing applications to understand fires, and urban social geography.
