Indira has a bachelor's degree in Art History from the University of California at Santa Cruz and a master's degree in Public Administration from Walden University. She comes to CSPAR with over eighteen years of experience working on federal, state and private foundation grants in a higher education setting. First as the Project Manager for the North Carolina Rural Health Research Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and more recently as the Project Director of the Universal Pathways to Employment Project at Pellissippi State Community College in Knoxville, TN. As the NSF EPSCoR Project Manager, Indira is responsible for managing the National Science Foundation's Connecting the Plasma Universe to Plasma Technology in Alabama (CPU2AL) grant.
