Biography

Dr. Ashok Silwal earned his PhD in Space Science from UAH, focusing on energetic particle acceleration and solar wind turbulence associated with corotating/stream interaction regions in the heliosphere. His work combines multi-spacecraft observations from recent missions such as Parker Solar Probe and Solar Orbiter with numerical simulations to investigate solar wind turbulence, wave–particle interactions, and the evolution of transient heliospheric structures. Currently, his research focuses on the generation mechanisms of density fluctuations in the near-Sun solar wind using both observations and numerical simulations.
