The outermost images show a hair dryer being used to float ping-pong balls in mid-air to illustrate a balance of forces (gravity vs. drag). This mirrors the forces that levitate charged particles in a dusty plasma. Auburn CPU2AL members are showing participants how to use their hands to focus the air column and cause the ball to float higher. The middle image shows CPU2AL members observing the growth of plasma treated seeds.
